As Head of Voice at Guildford School of Acting based at University of Surrey for the BA and MA/MFA performance programmes Chris strives for vocal excellence.

She is a published author and has begun her second book entitled Voice and Speech for Actors.

She has worked as vocal coach on numerous west end shows and has taught at many leading drama schools.

as part of Chris’s experience her repertoire of voice delivery includes voiceovers, infomercials, radio, and animation and gaming.

She has coached in Norway and Geneva for the World Economic Forum and Global Fellowship and is communications examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons, and delivers workshops on empowering women in business.

Chris also coaches politicians both nationally and internationally and has worked with many staff at the University of Surrey to empower their voices through presentation workshops, accent softening, and leadership.

Chris has published articles for many leading voice and singing journals including VASTA and the BVA and her research as Course Leader on GSA's ground-breaking MA Practice of Voice and Singing course, has led to a wider readership in the training of the singing and spoken voice.

Chris is also a voice and yin yoga teacher and regularly uses her voice and tai chi experience to support those suffering from performance anxiety, nerves and stress related conditions.
